This year im going to do my best to get good grades.



Love music, TV, art......Mnhmnn? Idont know. Why? Well because im a person tht loves lots of things, that lots of things motivate me in all aspect, at school and at free time.
At school what motivates me the most is learning and of course getting good gradesLearning things motivate me because i know that the majority of the stuff learned at school will help me when grown up, in the future, career and job.Towards thi year, im looking to learn tons and tons of stuff. The grades motivate me because if i get good ones, my parents will be very happy at me and will give some good prices for it and i´ll also be really happy. This year i hope to get really good grades, not like the ones of last year.
In the free time, what motivares me is listen to music, watch TV and art. in the free time, i like to draw while listening to music. Its like the best conbination, you calm down, you relax completely, forget about problems. its like if you went to another world, you disconect of the real world. Only thinking on what your drawing and th music kind of inspires and helps to concentrate better. Its just great. i really enjoy drawing and painting all about. What i enjoy too isto see TV. It distracts . Love movies, series, cartoons, lots of fun. On the T, theres always things to see, but when i am in a rush, i prefer drawing that calms me all down.

Person who influenced my life.
The person who has influenced my life is a dads friend. Called Eduardo. Although i dont know him in person,(i met him so many years ago that i cant remember him) the reason why he influenced my life is that he has had a realy realy hard one and makes the best effort to make life better. The main thing that inspires me of this person is that he never ever gives up!. His life has been just awful, beggining with his son suicide, then his wife left him for anothe guy and finaly, he got acused for murder and went to prision for about twenty years. He would probably will still be in there but thanks to an excellent lawyer that proof Eduardo hadent kill anyone at all, he got free like sixty years before his hole condene. The real murder, afortunatly, was found and sent to prision, he is goig to be there for a long time. So many many years, he probably wouldent get out at any time at all, hopefully. Now the murder will sufer what Eduardo sufered. Just inagine yourself in prision, how horrible!!!!!,with a little jail sharing with a big croud.How would you fill? with no good food or without clean sheets and a uncomfortable bed. All dirty and smelly, with fights all the time. IN the early morning like about 4.00 am, militars go to your small jail and wake you up in a bad way. They go to make sure everything is ok. A life in jail must be vary bad .
Now Eduardo has good friends (and not so good friends in jail, he made a lot of narco friends in there) , brothers and sisters.

Do you really know what your passion is?
Do you really wake up each morning wanting to do the thing you love?

I was stuck with this English speech of mine. I sat there for hours thinking of basically... nothing, I couldn’t get my brain to think, I said to myself: “What am I doing!”, I couldn’t sit there for basically three hours without writing….It was self torture, my brain was beginning to melt. I thought, and thought, and really nothing came into my head, I simply couldn’t write!
(Please believe that writing has always been easy for me but there are moments when you really need motivation.)
Well I got tired, I just started to click my computer mouse like crazy, I checked my e-mail, I went on to Hi5, and even onto You Tube, my brain had literally disappeared.
Another half an hour went by and I opened i tunes, it was a miracle!! Suddenly reason came back to me, color, light, words, sight, touch, I was back! Yes music is the reason I actually live music is my passion. I can’t picture myself without it.
Every day since I was a little girl my father used to sing with me country music, pop, musicals, basically I showed him whichever song I wanted to and he would play it for me, I would always sing along.
Time went by and I realized I couldn’t actually listen to songs I knew without struggling to not sing along, I just had too.
There was this time in my life when I used to think what was the the thing I loved, but believe it or not, no matter how much you think, no matter how much you seek, this star will always be there deep inside you. So if you think for a minute, it’s really not that hard to find it’s always there with you.
So literally speaking without my music I would not be happy, I would cry like the isolated rain drops on a sunny day.
It’s really funny to see how every person is destined for something, and I’m not saying that’s what we have to be or do when we grow up, but honestly think….What is it that you love? Could you really be the person you are now without that?
Ok maybe you think I’ve gotten to deep with this, or maybe I just broke the inspiration you were having( if that’s the case I’m sorry ), but you see sometimes in life you have to say and talk about the things you love, you just need to raise your voice!!!! It’s really true. To be honest I kind of needed to write about this, I even got to know myself better. When I say I am truly passionate about singing and music, believe it or not it’s true. Let me tell you how not only in my childhood,maybe I still am in my childhood but also right now, I’ve had the amazing gift to be able to do what I propose myself to do, but not only that, also I’ve been able to do whatever I love to do in many different ways. You know I love to sing, and I sing in my room, in my house, in my car, with my friends, and this is a wonderful thing, but being able to experiment different aspects about your passion, that’s what really counts. You maybe want to know how.
Ok I’ve sung in public evenings(including school ones like the French evening), in family and friend reunions, and I plan to do all this over and over again. I plan to be in different plays, and musicals, and everything involved with me being able to do what I love to do, music, because if I know one thing, it’s, fighting and always doing your best to complete what you are most passionate about.
And remember, your passion will always be in your heart, and in your day to day actions. JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART!!

My Ambitions!

Hello! My name is Luis Daniel and as any I have some ambitions. The first ambition is to become a good guitar player because I love music and better to play it myself. I would like to be in a great band and play great solos. I would play rock, punk, ska but never other type of music. I dont like the other types of music, I dont know why but its just like that. Maybe clasic music but no more than that.
My second ambition is to go around the world with my friens (also with my my band, it would be awsome if I have one and to go with it as a world tour). Check out the ancient civilisations because I love them. It would be great to go with my friends everywhere. All around the world would be very cool to be in a great band.
My third and great ambition is to have lots of money because with it you can make your ambitions come true (maybe not all because you can´t buy everything but most of them can become true). This is a normal ambition because everybody n the world wants money and some power but the part of power comes with money.
My forth ambition is toguether with the second ambition because I woul like to go around the world doing random stuff like be in a bike but standing up on it and making everyone say that I´m crazy and almost all my random stuff would be in my concerts. (It would be awsome!)
My fifth ambition is to meet most of my favorite bands like GUNS N ROSES and METALLICA. there I would meet Axel Rose from guns n roses (I love how he sings) and Kirk of metallica (he is great). I think everyone wants to meet their favorite singers and bands.

What I see myself doing in the future!

When I´m older I´m going to keep on playing the guitar because I love it.(I hope at least 1 hour daily until I play realy cool. I don´t know what job I´m going to have because its to soon to choose and its realy difficult to do it. I´m going to try my best to get lots of money working in something I realy like and that I´m good at. I´ll buy a big house in a nice place maybe in here in Mexico or in Canada because I love them both. In this house there is going to be lots of guitars bass and other instruments so when my friends come by they can play with me and play to some people in parties and stuff. I hoppe I have many parties and have lots of fun in them. I wont get married until 30 or more because if I get married and have children they mwon´t let me have parties and high volume. I would go with my friends to the olympics and and to futball matches of the best teams. (I think that my best time is going to be from 16 to 30, I hope so). After 30 I may become an old boaring old man. I also want to learn new languages like chinesse or german because I don´t want to stay with only spanish, english an french. (this will be cool). Well this is the end of all I hope that I´ve made the 500 words or more and hope you have liked it and make some coments about it please.

My ambitions

Hello, my name is Arturo and I consider myself a pretty ambicious kid. So, to get started I will tell you about the first ambition that came up to my mind:

1. Money!!! That's right, money, money, money... I love money, I'm kinda like Mr. Crabs from Sponge Bob Square Pants. He can't stop thinking about money and neither can't I. Some people say that this is a bit ridiculous, that money can't buy happiness... And I say: "why not???" I mean, money can buy anything and i just don't get why people say this. Think about this for a second...(second passes by and will never come back)... Now that you thought about it, I hope you realized how powerfull money is. I mean, money can buy you a car, a wife, a baby chimp, a house... you can even buy your way to presidence. So by this, I hope you understood why I love money so much.

After a few seconds of pure concentration, I finally decided what I would write about:

2. Technology... Might sound a bit odd, but technology is awesome, when I grow up, I hope I can afford a super expensive and nice laptop and all of that kinda stuff. This would be considered a bit pathetic or not important for most people, but for me... it's one of my main objectives. As you can see, everything is linked with money. This is just because I'm more of a physical person, I'm not so worried about getting married or having any kids or anything. All I'm worried about is having more than enough money to satisfy all of my ambitions when I grow up. This second ambition leads me to my next ambition...

3. Videogames. Yeah, I know it sounds a bit nerdy an unsocial, but this actually is a very important thing for me. I mean when you are so bored and there are no parties, no new song to play on the guitar, nothing on T.V. and nothing to film or laugh about... All I can think of is videogames. I'm not a big fan of 'em, although I used to be. But the one reason I included this into my "ambition list" is because of Halo. That's right, Halo is the best game ever and i would still be playing if i hadn't sold my X Box... Anyway, Halo is the best game ever made and i love it, but I don't want to talk much about it because I'd end up writting a video game review instead of my English homework. So that's all I'm saying...

Anyways, after not thinking for even half a second, the thing that illuminates my dark life popped up into my mind and said: "include me in your list, or I shall turn off the lights and leave you for the rest of your sad and misserable life" (ignore all of the words thats start with an... in fact, ignore everything I've just said...=P) So aftersayong that I will talk about:

4. Guitar!!! Yeah! So gere's a little poem I wrote in less than a minute:
My guitar makes me happy
It makes me feel alive
It makes me snappy
And it makes me survive!
Yup, I don't know what I'd do without my fine collection of guitars... Really, it's pretty much what I do all day long appart from swimming and filming movies and stuff... I hope i don't loose my awesome guitar skills untill I die. Since I don't wanna get married, I actually feel like having a music room inside my house, that way I'd spend loads of time and I wouldn't be bored... EVER.

What if I told you I want to work in a museum when I finish college? Maybe you think I am crazy but, guess what? I do want that.
I have a dream, and that dream is to know it all about ancient history and travel all over the world to archeologycal sites, to discover magical places and to explore unbelievable cultures. Yeah, that is what I want.

How did this start? I am going to tell you a secret.

A few months ago something really, really big happened. Something that turned out to be a life-changing experience,the kind of something that reshapes your ideas and redifines what you thought of the world that surrounds you. It happens that I went on a trip. Not a roadtrip, no. Not an excurtion either, no, I went away for the best month EVER.

My mother, my aunt, my grandmother and me packed a giant bag each and said farewell to the City to begin what would soon be remembered as a fairytale, with a villain, a godmother and everything, I swear! I visited Egypt, Paris, London, Venice, Florence, Rome and Greece and learned more about myself during the time I spent there than about the very places. Not that I realized that right away, but as I settled back home I noticed I was not the same person at all. Through watery eyes filled with longing I could finally see what my deepest amibition had become. Once life feeds you a teaspoon of pure joy the irony begins, you are not satisfied by the precious liquid, oh no, you get an unbearable thirst for it. How can you get enough camel rides during the sunset or waves of the deepest blue crashing against your feet or hours watching gondolas go beneath the canals of a kind of Heaven you never imagined? If you can, you probably live there, but if you are like me, there is nothing like it and you know it. At least I could not possibly get enough.

A hunger for adventure within me awakened like a creature from the depths of the Earth, asleep for so long it needs to get out. Ok, that was a little over the top but I did not want a cliché. ;) . So....I want to work in a museum. “Why?”, you ask. Because it would be way cool. Plus, who would imagine what that trendy party animal does during the day. Right?

Maybe some people will think that it is not possible to actually succeed with that career but if my role model could, I can too. My role model happens to be my very own aunt, Ale. She is so amazing! She studied art history and photography when nobody believed in her and now she has seen the world, found true love and has a passionate career which she loves. She is the center of every party which she goes to and is the coolest, funniest and most amazing person in the whole wide world. It sounds silly and even foolish but I believe it is true and I believe I can achieve anything I set myself as a goal so, World, beware, because here I come!

There are people who care about animals , you don’t even have to like or have a pet in you’re house you only have to respect them . Yes you may think ‘But what I don’t do anything to hurt them I don’t do animal testing !’ or ‘ I don’t buy fur!’ about that are you sure? Fur isn’t just the big coats that you’re grandma may have used , that are made of pure fur.
There are other types of things that fur is being used on. Are you telling me that you haven’t bought a Abercrombie fur jacket or for the boys a leather jacket.
Why would you buy it? Really think about a reason , if you like. the way you look in it then buy one that’s not made of fur. It looks exactly the same and its cheaper .If your thinking ‘ No it doesn’t look the same ‘ what a hypocrite you are ! You’re willing to have a life taken than just buying one that looks very much alike , that’s a life you have taken.
Most people think that animals are different than humans they can move cant they? And breathe show emotion in their own way , they are just like us!
There’s a way you can help !

Have you ever imagined about the life animals have to live ? They can’t talk the cant say if they want to be part of an experiment or not . They don’t get to choose , but you can .
Imagine living locked inside a closet without control over any aspect of your life. You can't choose when and what you eat, how you will spend your time, whether or not you will have a partner and children, and if you do, who that partner will be. You can't even decide when the lights go on and off. Think about spending your entire life like this, even though you have committed no crime.
tiny mice grow tumors as large as their own bodies, kittens are purposely blinded, rats are made to suffer seizures. They are forced to do this they cant choose ! They have families too just like you and me , but you and me don’t get separated from ours and we can talk , choose for ourselves ,they are not as strong as us they need our help . What have they ever done to us? Hurt us ,ate us? So what ? We’ve done the same to them , haven’t we? See they are no more left excuses for us to do what we done to them . Did you know that 115 million animals die every year. But they don’t die peacefully , I don’t think any animal does. They didn’t live a happy life like the life we are living now. Life for us is a gift , a beautiful gift for them life isn’t a beautiful gift. If I were them I would rather not to be born instead of suffering that life of deprivation, isolation, and misery. Wouldn’t you?

WHAT MOTIVATES ME WELLL.
I can think of lots of things friends family sports and the big word loveeee
Before I met him all I could think of was gosh today I have math’s. But when we got to know each other I actually didn’t care that I has math’s or that I had to get up at 6:00am for school.
I think that when you find love it really motivates you to keep on living and going to school just so that you can see him. But what happens when you actually realize nothing cn happen between you. Maybe he doesn’t have the guts to tell you, or maybe he is leaving the school who knows. And after all of this things happen, the motivation you used to have completely disappears, everything changes enjoying math’s (never happen but) school, you just don’t want to see his face anymore, or even think about him, you get upset everyday or just cry about it who knows. So the question is not really answered yet. (Lets try again)
What makes you keep going when this happens, mmmmmmmmmmmm probably friends mmm yeah that’s the best thing I can think about right now, after you have a broken heart, they are the ones who help you with this, think about it if you didn’t had friend who would you talk to when you are boared in a class, who would help you copy sorry do you your homework. I THINK friends are realy important part in your life. It just makes you happy talking to them in breaks during classes etc.

Another thing????? Sports of course !(How do you expexct to keep your perfect figure). Well I do fell motivated by sports although sometimes I´m just to lazy to do them. I feel motivate when we have Pe.
And last but not least family, I mean this where you come from no?

I'm really motivated by the thought of this year in English. I think it's going to be a big change but a good change because of all the different stuff we're gonna be doing and learning in 10B English. I'm motivated by things like this Thompson blog because it's innovative, interactive and fun. I want to get good grades in English.

What am I going to do in the future? That’s one question I’ve asked myself a few times in the past. What should I do with myself once I escape from school? That big question of everything beyond school, the future basically. Some people will say, “Well that’s four years from now, just shut up and play some more videogames,” but I don’t think you can be too prepared, can you? I’m not saying I’m going to perfectly jot down my future down to the days, but something, a rough idea I mean.
The first thing you’ve gotta think about I guess is jobs no matter how sick and cruel that sounds. To find an idea of your future profession you probably have to search “deep within your soul” AND take a glance at your grades. Maybe think about college. Once again, you might say I’m going too fast but if you look north of the border in the US kids our age are already killing themselves with ten hours of homework daily and hellish extracurricular activities in order to get their place in a good university. I say this is way too extreme at too early an age, but if you think about how many kids could be going crazy about this you might then think it WOULDN’T be a bad idea to think about jobs and college, would it?
It may seem selfish but when I grow up I want to have MONEY. Let me rephrase that with some fancy language I take Economics to learn, I want to have the “resources” for my “needs” and “wants”. By that I don’t mean I expect to live in a huge mansion like Bill Gates but on the other hand I don’t want to live in a cardboard box behind a supermarket like a hobo. I want the money to buy whatever new videogame just came out, to buy some groceries; well I guess I mean to buy WHATEVER within limits of course. This brings me back to the job dilemma. I had once considered one of my future job options something to do with English, and I still do. A writer, a journalist, anything besides a teacher. The only problem with that is the money, at least in the case of the writer. You could get lucky like J.K. Rowling and become richer than the Queen or your books could get ignored and you could dawdle in obscurity like…some author we’ve never heard of. See what I mean? I do enjoy creative writing though; maybe it could be my hobby alongside video games in the future. Ah, videogames. That is one thing I see myself definitely doing in the future. I don’t care if it is 10 years or 50 years, I can pretty much assure you I’ll still find the time to game. No matter what my wife, my parents, my roommate, anyone tells me. At least something in my future is safe.
After careful deliberation about the college subject, I’ve decided it might be too early to start saying “Oh, I’m going here” for any specific college. Who knows what the future holds? Same thing on the job problem, it is still four years from now PLUS college. Hundreds of thousands of thing could happen in that time span, possibly changing my mind completely about any number of things. What I can say is I hope to do something I honestly enjoy. I don’t want to be a business man working 9-8 every day. That would be just too boring. I can’t really hope anything too definite for myself in the future, all I really do hope is I’ll be as happy and have as many friends as I do now.

Carlo is my name not like many others who have confused me with CARLOS sometime in the past, which as you know is not my name. Well I’ve wrote about the greater ambitions I plan to accomplish sometime between today and the far far future or maybe not that long but…well I might talk about it later but for now I would like to give a brief description of my personality in a few words; I criticize a lot (you’ve been warned) and I’m not as calm as some people might have tagged me by but as strange as it may sound this has nothing to do with what’s coming next…my ambitions and what I’ve previously mentioned has got absolutely nothing to do with what’s next so WHY did I write it??? I think just to introduce myself although that wasn’t very bright because all of you already know me by at least more than a year.
Let me start with what I call the “Biggest” ambition and it consists of having a greater education than the people I’d be competing with after graduation and for me to be very brainy on the subject I choose to take, so if I do get that dream of mine I’ll be able to reach the next goal which is to be extremely rich from the pay roll I get for doing what I love the most (I’m a little confused myself, I don’t know what I dream of being in the future!!!) so this goal will be accomplished sometime in the 2000s and I’ll get my next desire after finishing the previous one above and this will be getting anything which is material and although the thing I like the most isn’t money I do cherish buying stuff and I prize going on trips abroad. Although I really don’t seek to be on the top ten list of richest men in the world (which might even be great) I would be delighted if I could have enough money for myself and those I care about. Know that I come to think of it what I desire the most is to find out what I want to be as a grown up because if I realize that what I want the most is to be a hobo (which I find least likely) I wouldn’t be needing education to walk around the street with ragged cloths, a box of chewing gum and a hand out for money to come as I sell it. I think that it would be an easy way to go for but I’d like to have a more challenging path to which I’ll be succeeding the goals above. The last but not least is to prove myself that I can do whatever I want whenever I feel up to it, by the time I can reach that aspiration I’d have finished all the other ones and I know that I can make it happen because I really want it to and so if I didn’t I wouldn’t be telling you this. Even though I won’t get it done in short laps of time I will eventually and when I do I’ll recall the time when I did these piece of work and I’d think to myself, “What did I say I did what I hungered the most and those were my keenness accomplished after all this time and at long last were accomplished by me!!!”. By the time I’d succeeded I’d remembered who and what helped me carry out what I started and what I will be performing in the future that are my life achievements and because its likely I’ll remember the class I’m in now since; I feel my guess is correct that you would have helped in one way or another. So what better way to achieve those tasks than by concluding smaller ones that in the end would take me to succeed on the greater ones? So those are my ambitions, aspirations, desires, goals, etc. I am really looking forward to grasp what I deserve after such hard work.
